1: If you would like to return an item, please contact our customer support via email at (support@gaslandchef.com.au) Monday - Friday from 9 am -5 pm PST to request a return within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. When contacting our support team ensure you provide them with your return reason.

2: Returns made without approval will not be accepted as to we have different return addresses for different products.

3: For returns due to buyers remorse (ie: Order by mistake, Does not fit, Change my mind, No longer needed, etc) customers are responsible for the return shipping cost along with a 20% restocking fee applied. You should also save your tracking number to confirm when your item has been received at our location. Items being returned due to defects or quality issues a pre-paid return label will be provided to you upon you providing us with any pictures/videos showing the issue you are encountering.

Ceramic Cooktop Tips

1. What cookware can I use on a ceramic cooktop?

Our ceramic cooktops are compatible with nearly all types of ceramic cookware, as well as stainless steel, cast iron, aluminium, copper, and glass pots or pans.
For best performance, always use cookware with a flat and smooth base to ensure even heating.

2. How do I clean and maintain my ceramic cooktop?

After cooking, wait until the ceramic heater surface has cooled down.

Wipe gently with a soft cloth or ceramic cooktop cleaner.
Use a ceramic scraper for stubborn residue.
Avoid using steel wool or abrasive cleaners, which may scratch the glass surface.

Regular care helps maintain your electric cooktop’s shine and efficiency.

3. Why does my ceramic cooktop’s heating zone turn on and off during use?

This is a normal feature of ceramic heater protection.
After long or high-temperature cooking, the heating element may cycle on and off automatically to prevent overheating.
It’s part of the built-in temperature protection system, which maintains a stable surface temperature.
If the protection mode activates too early, please check that:

There is adequate ventilation space around the cooktop, and
The bottom cooling fan is clean and unobstructed by dust or debris, as poor airflow can reduce cooling efficiency.

4. How do I determine if my circuit can handle the power of the electric cooktop?

All GASLAND electric cooktops are hardwired appliances, meaning they must be installed by a licensed electrician and do not come with a plug.

CH30BF: Single-phase 220–240V
CH60BF / CH603BF / CH604BF / CH77BF: Single or dual-phase
CH90BF: Three-phase 380–415V

Before installing your electric cooktop, make sure your household circuit can safely handle its power load.
You can calculate the required current using the formula:

Current (A) = Power (W) ÷ Voltage (V)
For example, a 6000W cooktop on a 240V line will draw around 25 amps.

Check that your electrical circuit, wiring, and circuit breaker can support this load — and don’t forget to account for other appliances connected to the same line.If you are unsure, please contact your electrician or email us.
