1: If you would like to return an item, please contact our customer support via email at (support@gaslandchef.com.au) Monday - Friday from 9 am -5 pm PST to request a return within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. When contacting our support team ensure you provide them with your return reason.

2: Returns made without approval will not be accepted as to we have different return addresses for different products.

3: For returns due to buyers remorse (ie: Order by mistake, Does not fit, Change my mind, No longer needed, etc) customers are responsible for the return shipping cost along with a 20% restocking fee applied. You should also save your tracking number to confirm when your item has been received at our location. Items being returned due to defects or quality issues a pre-paid return label will be provided to you upon you providing us with any pictures/videos showing the issue you are encountering.

1. Can I plug an induction burner into a regular wall outlet?

Our induction cooktops do not come with a plug and must be hardwired for safety and proper performance.
In Australia, models support both single-phase and two-phase wiring. We recommend installing the cooktop on a dedicated circuit with at least a 16A circuit breaker to comply with safety standards and power needs.
For installation, always consult a licensed electrician or contact us via Live Chat or email for specific guidance.

2. Can an induction cooktop be hardwired to a general power outlet (GPO)?

No. A General Power Outlet (GPO) in Australia is typically rated for 10A or 15A, which is insufficient for induction rangetops that require higher amperage circuits.
A dedicated hardwired circuit with an appropriate breaker is required for safe and reliable operation.

3. Can I install an induction cooktop myself, or do I need a professional?

We strongly recommend having your induction cooktop installed by a licensed electrician. Improper wiring or installation can cause safety hazards and void your warranty.

4. What kind of cookware works with induction cooktops?

Conduction cooktops require magnetic cookware, such as cast iron or stainless steel with a magnetic base. You can test compatibility by placing a magnet on the bottom of your pan; if it sticks, it should work.

5. Can I install an induction cooktop above a built-in oven?

Yes, provided that the ventilation requirements and clearance guidelines for both appliances are followed. Always check your product manuals to ensure safe installation.
