1: If you would like to return an item, please contact our customer support via email at (support@gaslandchef.com.au) Monday - Friday from 9 am -5 pm PST to request a return within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. When contacting our support team ensure you provide them with your return reason.

2: Returns made without approval will not be accepted as to we have different return addresses for different products.

3: For returns due to buyers remorse (ie: Order by mistake, Does not fit, Change my mind, No longer needed, etc) customers are responsible for the return shipping cost along with a 20% restocking fee applied. You should also save your tracking number to confirm when your item has been received at our location. Items being returned due to defects or quality issues a pre-paid return label will be provided to you upon you providing us with any pictures/videos showing the issue you are encountering.

1. Can I install the GASLAND gas cooktop in my alfresco or outdoor BBQ area?

Yes, our GASLAND cooktops are designed for flexible installation and can be used in alfresco kitchens, outdoor BBQ areas, or semi-outdoor cooking spaces. However, for safety and compliance, they must be installed by a licensed gas fitter.

Quick self-check before installation:

The area should have at least two open sides for proper ventilation.
It should be under cover (roofed) but not fully enclosed like an indoor kitchen.
Must be protected from direct rain and strong wind.
Maintenance tip: Always wipe off water or stains in time, and keep the cooking area well ventilated.

2. Is the GASLAND cooktop compatible with both Natural Gas and LPG/Propane?

Yes. Our cooktops are dual fuel compatible:

Natural Gas
LPG/Propane nozzles (no extra conversion kit required)

This means you can easily use the cooktop with either natural gas or propane depending on your setup.

3. Does the cooktop need electricity to ignite?

The cooktop comes with a 120cm Australian 3-pin plug, which powers the electric spark ignition for easy lighting. If no outlet is available, you can also use a manual flame ignition (lighter/match) to start cooking.
